Crews respond to large industrial fire in Abercynon

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently in attendance at large industrial fire at Ty Menter, Navigation Park, Abercynon.

Multiple crews, appliances, and specialist rescue equipment including aerial ladder platforms, high volume pumps and water bowsers are at the scene, as the incident remains ongoing.

Residents living nearby are advised to close all windows and doors due to the smoke in the area.

Smoke is also impacting the nearby A470.

Members of the public are advised to avoid the area to allow for emergency response.
