Fifth person charged in connection with Rhydyfelin murder investigation

Police have charged a fifth person in connection with a murder investigation in Rhydyfelin.
22 year old Liam Woolford, from Porth, died after police were called to a disturbance at Poet's Corner just before 1.00am, Tuesday, September 23. Two other men were taken to hospital.
Zoe Peters, 36, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd has been charged with attempt murder and conspiracy to wound another.
She was due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court this morning.
Detective Inspector Rebecca Merchant said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of Liam Woolford at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank the community of Rhydfelin for their continued support during this ongoing investigation and would urge anyone with relevant information who hasn’t yet come forward to do so.”
