Police tracing man seen on CCTV before fatal assault in Cardiff
Officers are keen to speak to the man in the image, who's not suspected of a crime, but may have vital information

Detectives are appealing for a man captured on CCTV in Cathays, Cardiff, to come forward as they investigate an assault that resulted in the death of a 37-year-old man.
Police were called to Pentyrch Street on the evening of 22nd December 2025.
Colm Marcus Boston from Heath died was later pronounced dead on 26th December after being treated at the University Hospital of Wales.
Footage shows Colm crossing the road outside Tesco on Cathays Terrace at around 5.50pm alongside the unknown man.
This CCTV recording is the final sighting of Colm before the police were alerted at around 6.15pm.
Officers say it is important to note that the man in the footage has not been accused of any wrongdoing but may have vital information.
Four men have been arrested in connection with the investigation so far.
One has been released under investigation, while the other three remain on police bail.
Family liaison officers continue to provide support to Mr Boston’s family.
