Police are investigating a crash near the Ely roundabout in Cardiff that occurred in the early hours of this morning.

Two men, both 34, were taken to the University Hospital of Wales following the collision at approximately 3am on Thursday, 11th December.

They are thought to be the driver and passenger of a silver Ford Fiesta involved in the crash.

Both men are currently in a stable condition and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

South Wales Police confirmed the car was involved in a pursuit after failing to stop for officers.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
