Man seriously injured in Caerphilly town centre assault
Gwent Police has issued an appeal and released two CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Caerphilly on Thursday 26 December.
They received a report of an assault in Cardiff Road, Caerphilly, at around 11.30pm on Thursday 26 December.
A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers investigating the assault would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 11pm and midnight as they could help with the investigation.
They would also like to speak to the man pictured, who may be able to help with enquiries.
He is described as a bald man, in his mid, to late, twenties and approximately 5 ft 10’. He was wearing a black jumper with black trousers and Adidas trainers.
