A woman in her 80s is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash in Shedfield.
It happened just before 1 o'clock in the afternoon on New Year's Eve at the junction of Winchester Road and the A334 and involved two vehicles.
The victim was a passenger in one of the cars.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened or who has dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch.
