Dorset woman charged with murder of man in Southampton

A 23-year-old woman from Dorset has been charged with the murder of a man from Southampton.
Police say the charge follows the reported assault of a man at an address on Weston Lane, Southampton at 4.21am on Sunday (9 August 2026).
Officers attended the property but 45-year-old Craig Wesley Mintram was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Katie Linin, of Eldon Place, Bournemouth has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 12 August 2026).
Hampshire Police says a 54-year-old man from Southampton was also arrested in connection with the incident, but has since been released from custody, without any further action to be taken against him.
