Woman dies after collision with car in Winchester

A woman has died following a collision with a car in Winchester, sparking a police appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The incident happened just before 6pm last night (Tuesday 13th January) on Stockbridge Road, between the junctions of Stoney Lane and Butts Close.
It involved a silver Mercedes A150 and a female pedestrian, who sadly died at the scene.
Police appeal
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
