A tribute has been paid to Toby Parker, a 24-year-old motorcyclist from Hythe, who tragically died in a collision on the A272.

The incident occurred between Rodfield Lane and Owslebury and involved a silver Nissan X-Trail and a blue Suzuki motorcycle.

Police were called to the scene just after 6pm on 18th February.

Despite attempts to save him, he suffered serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His family shared a heartfelt tribute, describing him as "fearless and talented."

They recounted his deep love for motorcycles, both in riding and repairing them.

He was known for his tendency to take on challenges, as demonstrated by filming himself blindfolded while stripping down and rebuilding an engine.

Toby worked at South Downs Motorcycles, a place where he felt truly at home and proud of his contributions.

His family noted his warm and humorous personality, drawing friends and lighting up rooms wherever he went.

He was known for his affectionate nature, notably giving "the biggest bear hugs."

" He was deeply loved by his family and will be missed beyond words by all of us who knew and loved him," Toby's family said.

"The world feels a little darker without him in it, but we will carry his light with us always."
