Train line reopens after huge tree falls on tracks near Portchester
Lines between Fareham and Cosham had to be closed
The trainline between Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central has now reopened after a tree fell on the tracks.
Lines were blocked early this morning between Fareham and Cosham.
A number of replacement buses were out on with passengers warned that the disruption would continue up until 7pm tonight.
Chain saw gangs were called out to cut the tree up and safely remove it.
Due to the size of the tree, Southern Rail said it would take some time to remove.
Network Rail Wessex say disruption will continue for a while, while services get back to normal.
Passengers are being asked to check checking with their train operator for the latest advice.
