Poole Military Tattoo promises music and spectacle in September
Celebrating Britain's uniformed services through performance and pageantry
Poole is set to host an exciting day filled with music, pageantry, and performances as the Poole Military Tattoo comes to Poole Stadium on Saturday, 12th September 2026.
The event, titled 'Salute to the Services,' promises two spectacular performances with over 370 musicians, over 70 pipers and drummers, and even parachutists.
The day kicks off with the Jump Dogs Parachute Display Team providing a thrilling matinee opener, along with a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast for added excitement.
The Mayor of Poole, Tracy Newman, will be among the special guests at the afternoon show, which starts with gates opening at noon and the performance commencing at 1:00 pm.
Inside Poole Stadium, audiences will encounter a vast array of military music, including traditional marches and contemporary performances, orchestrated by the massive assembly of musicians.
The grand finale promises to be a highlight, featuring the Military Wives Choir Bovington, as performers unite in celebration of those who serve, have served, and support the UK's uniformed services.
As the sun sets, attendees can enjoy the Sundowner performance with spectacular sound and light displays, culminating in a specially designed laser show to end the day on a breathtaking note.
The Lord Lieutenant of Dorset will join the evening's events as a special guest, witnessing the grandeur and excitement of the Poole Military Tattoo.
