Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after assault in Southampton

Three teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, after a man was attacked in Southampton City Centre last night.

The assault took place outside Boots in Above Bar Street around 8.48pm.

According to reports, a group of males stamped on the victim's head.

Three teenagers, two aged 16 and one aged 15, all from Southampton, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are currently in custody.

Police are appealing for witnesses to assist with their investigation.

They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage of the group before or after the assault.
