Police investigate assault in Isle of Wight Totland that left a man with a broken nose

A man's been arrested in connection with the alleged assault

Police have made an arrest in connection with an alleged assault in Totland on the Isle of Wight that left a man in his twenties with a broken nose.

It's reported that the facial injuries were sustained on the 20th of June at Long beach bar on Colewell Chine Road. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police received the report between 5:50pm and 6pm.

An investigation was launched, and as part of enquiries, a 30-year-old man from Freshwater was arrested on suspicion of assault.

He has been bailed with conditions until 22 October whilst enquiries continue.

Officers say they would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident.
