Motorcyclist dies and passenger suffers life-changing injuries after Isle of Wight crash

A motorcyclist has died and his passenger has suffered life-changing injuries after a crash on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called at 3.12pm yesterday afternoon (28 July) to reports of a collision on Briddlesford Road.
The collision involved a Ford Kuga and Kawasaki motorcycle.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said:
"Sadly, despite best efforts of emergency services, a 58-year-old man, who was the rider of the motorcycle, died at the scene.
"The pillion passenger, a 53-year-old woman, has been taken to hospital with life changing injuries.
"Their family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
"As part of our investigation we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who has relevant dash cam footage capturing the incident or the moments leading up to it."
