Motorcyclist and passenger seriously hurt in Southampton crash

Police say the pair may have suffered life-changing injuries

A motorcycle rider and a pillion passenger have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Southampton.

The crash happened in in Bitterne at around 6.10pm last night (February 27th).

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police the 22-year-old male rider and 17-year-old boy passenger were on a white Triumph motorcycle travelling down Bullar Road, towards he cross roads with Bitterne Road West, when it collided with a black Toyota Yaris travelling towards the city centre.

The occupants of the Toyota were uninjured.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone with dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage showing the vehicles travelling down Bullar Road..
