Jess Glynne is among the latest acts announced for the 2025 Isle of Wight Festival - having previously been 'banned' from performing there.

Bosses had state in 2019 that the singer would not be invited back to the event after she cancelled her set at the last minute, citing being 'weak and full of anxiety'.

Organisers relented and allowed her back for the following event, held in 2021 following the coronavirus pandemic.

The 'Hold my Hand' singer is among the latest wave of acts for the events announced on Friday (November 29th) and will play the main stage on the event's final day, Sunday 22nd June.

Other acts on the bill for the event in Seaclose Park in Newport include Supergrass, Busted, Amy Macdonald, Ella Eyre, Lightning Seeds and The Pigeon Detectives.

Festival organiser John Giddings said:

"It’s great to welcome Jess back to the Island and to see her perform all of those hits we know and love – we will give her a real Isle of Wight welcome and I know it will be one of the highlights of the Weekend – we can't wait to have you, Jess!!"

The new acts join already-announced headliners Sting, Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake, while other acts on the bill include Faithless, Clean Bandit, The Script and James.

One act who won't be at the event is American singer Teddy Swims, who announced on Thursday that he would no longer be appearing.

The festival will be held between June 19 and 22, 2025.
