Hampshire and Isle of Wight's Air Ambulance say they've seen around a 50% increase in the cost of jet fuel.

It comes as the Iran war rages on, driving up prices for things like jet fuel here in the UK.

Keith Wilson's Director of Income and Engagement at the charity - he's telling us how it's impacting them.

He said: "Like everyone, we've been impacted by the rising cost of fuel due to the war in Iran.

"In fact, the jet fuel that we use on our aircraft has increased by around 50%.

"We're seeing the same increases in petrol prices that people are seeing at the pump, in order to run our fleet of rapid response vehicles as well.

"Obviously, we have a finite amount of money, and all the money that comes to us, comes to us from charitable donations from the good people in the communities we serve.

"So, we have to cut our cloth accordingly.

"The one thing we're adamant about is that we will continue providing our life-saving service and we will continue to be there for people when they need us."
