Hampshire family call for more research into Crohn's disease
It comes as they raise money for research following the completion of the UK Three Peaks challenge
A family who hiked the UK Three Peaks challenge are calling for urgent research into Crohn's disease.
Molly Bean-Harding's suffered from Crohn's disease since she was 13 years old, and the condition is currently uncurable.
She says it's really important to have more research into the condition.
Molly Bean Harding said: "People with these diseases are struggling to get diagnosed with anything really because they're not being heard.
"It's hard as well with immuno diseases because a lot of it is where do you start?
"It would be great if some of the money that the boys have raised could go towards better testing."
Bernie Harding-Martin's her husband and has just completed the UK Three Peaks challenge with his brother and young sons, Frank and Sylvester, in the aim to raise more awareness of Crohn's - after it's impacted their family.
Mr Harding-Martin added: "Frank said something really sweet on the way down.
"He said 'I'm so glad I've done this now because now they can use that money to make mummy better'.
"It was really sweet because that was his motivation."
