The Hampshire family of a man who died in the 1994 Chinook helicopter crash says it's "shocking" they still don't have answers about the incident.

It comes as families of the Chinook helicopter crash are due to meet with ministers today to push for answers - as documents related to the incident are currently sealed for 100 years.

The Chinook Justice campaign group has told us last parent of a victim, John Dockerty, has died and will never know what happened to his son, Major Christopher Dockerty.

Sue Angus lost her husband, Gary Sparks, in the incident, and has since campaigned alongside with daughters, Lucy and Esme.

She said: "It's so sad.

"You don't expect your children to die before you and for all those parents whose children were killed, and not really knowing the full extend of why and how they were killed?

"I think it's really sad.

"Most of them were in their 30s when they were killed, the ones of all these parents, and they were just young adults, really.

"The parents have gone to their graves without really knowing what happened.

"It emphasises how long it's been and how long it's taken to get the inquiry and get the results and explanations that we need."

Some of the families will travel to Parliament to meet the UK Government’s victims minister Alex Davies-Jones MP today.
