A 5-year-old girl's suffered a fractured jaw and skull after a collision with a bike on a footpath in Winchester.
Police have now released CCTV footage of the accident that happened on the path between Alresford Road and Easton Lane last month.
The rider - thought to have been on an E-bike - did stop but didn't leave his details.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "The rider – who was wearing black clothes and a face covering – did initially stop at the scene, however details were not exchanged and he left the area on foot prior to police arrival.
"Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who can identify the rider featured in the CCTV footage.
"We urge the rider, or anyone who knows him, to make contact with police so we can speak to him about this incident.
"Is this you, or do you know this person? Do you have any information about this incident at all that could assist our enquiries?"
