Emergency services day set to return to Fareham this summer
The 999 Day event will take place in the town centre this summer
An emergency services day is set to return to Fareham town centre this summer.
The event will run from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 20th June 2026 and will celebrate the work of local emergency services.
There'll be displays of emergency service vehicles and representatives available to talk from a wide range of organisations.
Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: “I am delighted that 999 Day is back once again.
"This free event provides a valuable opportunity to thank our emergency services for the vital work they do and allows families to meet the people who work tirelessly to keep us safe.”
Services in attendance will include the Police, Fire Service, South Central Ambulance Service, RNLI, Hampshire Search and Rescue, and the Coastguard.
Vintage and independent emergency service fire engines will also be on display.
There will be a pop-up beach from 9am until 5:30pm near Fareham Shopping Centre, too.
