E-scooter rider in life-threatening condition following Havant crash

An e-scooter rider is fighting for his life following a crash involving a car in Havant last night (Tuesday 4th).

Hampshire Police said the crash, which involved a white Vauxhall Corsa and a privately-owned vehicle, happened on Purbrook Way in Bedhampton at just before 10pm.

The rider of the e-scooter, a 50-year-old man from Havant, was taken to hospital with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

Officers have launched an investigation and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or the vehicles in the moments leading up to it.

They would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
