Arrest made following collision between cyclist and pedestrian in Cosham

15-year-old boy held in connection with the incident after serious injuries to pedestrian

Officers investigating a collision in Cosham have made an arrest in connection with the incident.

The collision occurred just before 3pm on Friday 6th March on Cosham High Street, involving a cyclist and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment in hospital.

The cyclist involved did not remain at the scene.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous cycling and causing grievous bodily harm without intent as part of the ongoing enquiries.

He is currently in police custody.
