Baby dies after being injured on Isle of Wight
Police were called to an address in Newport on Friday

A one year old girl's died, after being found with serious injuries on the Isle of Wight.
Emergency services were called to a property on Dairy Crest Drive, Newport just after 11.30am on Friday (1 August).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight constabulary have since confirmed that the girl died in hospital on Sunday.
Inspector Oly Greenhowe said: “This is an incredibly sad situation and will undoubtedly be felt throughout the community.
“We are continuing to conduct thorough enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and how the child became injured, and we respectfully urge members of the public to refrain from engaging in speculation online. If you have any relevant information on this incident, please get in touch with us directly.”
A 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, from the area were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and have been bailed.
