93-year-old man seriously injured in Hampshire hit and run

Police say the car involved failed to stop at the scene

A police investigation has been launched following a collision in Hampshire in which a 93-year-old man suffered serious injuries.

Officers said the crash, involving a car and a pedestrian, took place on Fleet Road in Fleet at around 4.30pm on Monday evening (December 2nd).

Police were called to a report of collision involving a pedestrian and a car, which took place at around 4:30pm this evening (Monday 2 December) on Fleet Road.

It is thought that several members of the public stopped to help the man and to call an ambulance.

Anyone involved, or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to come forward to police as they may hold important information about what happened.

Officers are also keen to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
