Police release images of two people they want to speak to after Yeovil shop worker assaulted

Police have released images of a man and a woman they want to speak to after a shop worker was assaulted in Yeovil.
It happened at a shop selling mobile phone accessories in Middle Street at around 4.15pm on Saturday 11th April, according to Avon and Somerset Police.
An unknown man and woman entered the shop before a member of staff was assaulted and a security camera was damaged, police said.
The victim, a man in his mid-twenties, was not injured during the incident.
Police said they have maintained contact with him while the investigation continues.
What inquiries have been made so far
Officers said they have carried out a trawl of CCTV footage and conducted intelligence checks as part of the investigation.
Police said they are now releasing images of two people they believe may have information which could assist their enquiries.
Descriptions of the two people police want to speak to*
The first person is described as a white man, between 28 and 30 years old, of slim build and around 6ft tall, with short dark hair.
He was wearing glasses, a black coat, a grey top, jeans, worker-style boots and a chunky silver chain, police said.
The second person is described as a white woman, between 20 and 25 years old, of slim build, with long dark hair.
She was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers, according to police.
Anyone who witnesses anything or has information which could assist the investigation is being asked to come forward to Avon and Somerset Police.
