Witness appeal after fatal collision in Bridgwater

Police are appealing for witnesses and anybody with information, relating to a fatal collision in Bridgwater this morning (Monday 17 August).

Officers were called to a collision, involving a pedestrian and a Mercedes Sprinter van, on Barhams Close, at around 6.30am.

The pedestrian, a man in his fifties, died at the scene.

His family has been informed and will be supported by specialist officers, while inquiries continue.

Any witnesses, those with information, or anybody with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage at around the time of the incident are urged to contact 101, quoting reference number 5226231227.
