Weston-super-Mare flat shut down after months of anti-social behaviour and drug offences
Police say anyone who tries to enter the George Street property now faces prosecution

A flat in Weston-super-Mare has been boarded up after neighbours were subjected to months of anti-social behaviour and drug offences.
Avon and Somerset Police secured a three-month closure order against the George Street property at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Friday 14th August.
Officers worked alongside the owner of the property to obtain the order, demonstrating it had been linked to anti-social behaviour and to drug use and supply.
What the order means
The closure order was made under Section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Anyone who now enters or remains at the property will be in breach of the order and could face a fine, six months' imprisonment, or both.
Police reaction
PC Kat Davis, from the Weston Town Centre Neighbourhood Team, said: "Residents will be relieved to see the property has been boarded up and they can also take comfort from the fact that if anybody returns and attempts to enter it, they will be committing a crime and will face further prosecution.
"We understand the distress and frustration residents would have felt while being subjected to this unacceptable behaviour, and we just hope this action demonstrates how committed we are to tackling such issues.
"We appreciate the courage from those who have supported the investigation as, without them, we would not have been able to secure this order. Hopefully, residents will start to see some normality returning to their lives and we will continue to support them."
