Three men have been jailed after a series of car key burglaries across Somerset.

Dylan Morgan, aged 23, Thomas Maguire and George Ruja, both 19, were sentenced at Taunton Crown Court after admitting their roles in

The break-ins occurred in Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare and Glastonbury earlier this year.

Neighbourhood Inspector Charmaine Dyne said: “We welcome the result of this investigation, and we’re committed to taking robust action against offenders while working proactively to identify and disrupt criminality.

“We understand the profound personal impact burglary can have on victims. We have offered access to specialist support services to those affected, who have understandably been left distressed and feeling unsafe in their own homes.

“I’d urge people to continue to look out for each other in our communities by reporting any suspicious activity as it happens, this helps us understand the scale of an issue so we can invest the appropriate level of resources to tackle it.”
