Somerset is on the cusp of securing their second victory of the season as they enter the final day of their County Championship match against Hampshire at Southampton.
Trailing by 148 runs, Somerset currently stands at 139 for 3 with seven wickets in hand.
James Rew remains unbeaten at 58, while Tom Abell supports the Somerset innings with 27 runs, forming an 87-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Hampshire resumed their second innings with a strong position of 146 for 1.
Contributions from Nick Gubbins (83), Jake Lehmann (50), and Ben Brown (66) propelled Hampshire to a total of 336 all out, providing a lead of 286.
Somerset captain Lewis Gregory gave his side a boost with figures of five for 42, but facing defeats at 52 for 3, Rew and Abell have revived hopes for Somerset.
