Police seek witnesses for Thurloxton A38 incident
A man has died after being hit by a car while pushing his bike along the A38 in Thurloxton, Somerset.
The incident occurred at around 9.20pm on Thursday, 13th August.
Emergency services promptly arrived on the scene and administered first aid, but unfortunately, the individual passed away at the site.
The man's family has been informed, and they are being supported.
The road was temporarily closed in both directions during the response but has now been reopened.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage that may be relevant to come forward.
