New high-tech all-terrain fire engines in operation at Glastonbury
They've been bought in by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
We've had an exclusive tour of the first of the new high-tech all-terrain fire engines being used at Glastonbury festival this year
They use the latest cutting technology - as well as mapping and communication systems - and will speed-up the on-site response times
Gerald Taylor is the Assistant Chief Fire Officer for Devon and Somerset, he said: "We've looked at the risk across Devon and Somerset, so if it snows it can get through that.
"We can get all the information regarding a particular incident, so even the maps for Glastonbury are on our systems, so we can get in and around that if there is an issue.
"It's got modern electronic cutting vehicle and it's a four wheel modern drive meaning we can get around the site easier."
Today on the festival site there's a 5k-fun run from 9am and at lunchtime an attempt for the biggest 'peace mantra' where thousands will gather to call for more 'compassion and solidarity' in the world.
