Man, 60s, injured while walking home in Burnham-on-Sea, say police

A man in his sixties has been injured while walking home in Burnham-on-Sea, prompting police to seek witnesses and footage.

The incident occurred between 11pm and midnight on 14th April on Berrow Road, between Victoria Street and Trinity Rise.

He has reportedly informed officers that two individuals on electric bikes pushed him, causing him to fall.

Following the attack, the man sustained head and facial injuries.

Neighbours assisted him, ensuring he received care, and reported the incident to the police the next morning, 15th April.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Jennifer Atkinson said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who can help our investigation into this distressing incident.
