Wessex Water apologies over leak that's left Yeovil taps dry
Some properties lost water supplies at 8am today
Water supplies are being reconnected to homes in Yeovil - after a burst water man saw taps run dry this morning.
Wessex Water say they were called to a burst main at Lyde Road at 8am, this led to some households experiencing low pressure or an interruption to their water supply for a time.
The firm says, "Bottled water is being delivered to customers in vulnerable circumstances while we carry out repairs.
“Supplies are now being restored and we’re working to fix the damaged main as quickly as possible.”
