Leonardo workers in Yeovil secure pay rise following strike action
Staff based at Leonardo sites across the country have accepted a new pay offer from the company

Workers at a defence and aerospace company in Yeovil will see a significant pay rise after taking strike action.
Staff based at Leonardo sites in Yeovil, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Basildon and Luton have accepted a new pay offer from the company worth an 8% increase over two years.
Members of the Unite union had already take strike action and more dates were planned across the autumn and winter but Unite these have now been cancelled after say its members accepted the pay increase.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “There is power in a union and workers at Leonardo should be proud of the increased pay award they have secured."
A spokesperson for Leonardo said: "Leonardo confirms the positive results of the ballot and acceptance of our revised pay and reward package by Unite members
"This reflects our continued commitment to offering fair and sustainable pay and benefits, while remaining competitive in the global market.
"With this matter resolved, we are now focused on leveraging the skill and dedication of our workforce to deliver our key commitments.”
