Police seek witnesses after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Glastonbury collision

A361 reopens following overnight closure for investigation

A police appeal has been launched for information after a motorcyclist sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle collision on the A361 in Glastonbury.

The accident occurred late on Friday, 17th April, with officers being informed at 11.40pm by the ambulance service.

The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, remains hospitalised due to the seriousness of his injuries.

His family has been notified, and their awareness of the situation has been confirmed.

The A361 was closed from Wick Lane to Chilkwell Street overnight to facilitate a scene investigation.

It reopened by 11am on Saturday, 18th April after the recovery of the vehicle was completed.

Authorities are appealing for any information, dashcam footage, or other media that could shed light on the circumstances leading to the collision.
