The free Water Bar - ran by the team at Bristol Water - was once again at Glastonbury Festival last month, providing attendees with 6,000 litres of free drinking water throughout the event.

The long-running scheme supports the iconic festival’s ban on single-use plastic bottles by reducing rubbish and helping to educate on sustainable water use.

Bosses at Bristol Water says this support helps to ensure Glastonbury remains one of the most environmentally aware festivals in the world.

It was manned by Bristol Water’s Engagement Team who were on hand to serve festivalgoers throughout the five-day extravaganza at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Bristol Water also supply drinking water to the whole event, supplying around 210,000 revellers over the long weekend.

'Sustainability is hugely important to us'

Dani Twelvetree, Head of Customer Communications & Engagement at Bristol Water, said: “We're very happy to have supported Glastonbury again this year with our Water Bar.

“Sustainability is hugely important to us and our Water Bar plays a big part in reducing single use plastics at the festival.”

The Water Bar will also be heading to Bristol Pride this weekend.
