A farmer who found suspected human remains from a grave washed up outside his local church in Somerset says he's "shocked".
61 year-old Stephen Bartlett, said he discovered the bones outside St Mary's Church in Mudford near Yeovil on 29 January.
It followed a weekend of heavy rain and flooding caused by Storm Herminia.
In a statement, Somerset Council said: "A team from Somerset Rivers Authority (SRA) is working with the community to understand the possible causes of the flooding, which in turn will help to inform how the Council, the SRA and the community work together at adapting and building resilience for the future. Extreme weather events such as intense, concentrated rainfall are only likely to become more common.
"Locally, residents have formed the 3 villages flood group' (Mudford, Ashington and Chilton Cantelo) and have a resilience event on 5 April. Some of this group attended flood warden sessions which were run last year with the EA and they have also been looking at the availability of grants which could fund preventative measures."
