Residents in Cheddar and Wedmore are experiencing disruptions in their water supply due to a burst main.

Bristol Water has confirmed that there is no water and poor pressure affecting these areas.

The leak has been located by the crew, and they are currently preparing for repair work while also attempting to redirect water to restore supply to most properties.

Efforts are being made to resolve the issue promptly, and Bristol Water has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

A leakage inspector is on route and they are optimistic about restoring the water supply soon.

For residents experiencing changes in water taste or colour, the water company recommends referring to the 'Water FAQs' page.
