Police investigating assault in Yeovil release CCTV
The force are seeking assistance to identify man related to Stars Lane assault
An image of a man has been released in connection with an assault that occurred in Yeovil.
The attack happened outside a kebab shop on Stars Lane at approximately 11:30 pm on Friday, 17th July.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was assaulted by a group of males unknown to him.
He suffered injuries but was discharged from hospital as they were not serious.
The force says they do not consider there to be any wider risk to the public.
In an effort to gather more information, local police have conducted CCTV searches, checked intelligence, and spoken to witnesses.
Law enforcement officials have now released a picture of a man who might have valuable information regarding their inquiry.
The individual seen in the image is described as white, between 18 and 25 years old, and was wearing a black T-shirt, dark trousers, and white shoes at the time.
Anyone who can provide information on the identity of this person is urged to reach out.
The police are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with potential information to assist in resolving the matter.
