Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to identify a man in connection with an assault outside a pub on St John Street in Bridgwater.

The incident occurred at approximately 22.10pm on 7th February, resulting in two men, aged between 30 and 40, being hospitalized with injuries that are neither life-threatening nor life-changing. Both men have been discharged and are recovering at home.

A man in his mid-thirties has been arrested on suspicion of assault and wounding with intent and has been released on conditional bail.

The police have issued an image of another man they believe could provide crucial information for the ongoing investigation.

The individual is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He has a long brown beard and was wearing a blue T-shirt, grey trousers, and a dark-colored cap featuring a white logo.

CCTV footage and house-to-house inquiries are ongoing, and statements have been taken.
