Appeal after man sustains head injury in Somerset M5 crash

The collision happened at around 8.10pm on 14th February

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained a head injury in a crash on the M5 in Somerset.

The collision involved a black Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Honda Accord on the northbound section between Junction 25 (Taunton) and Junction 24 (Bridgwater) at around 8.10pm on 14th February.

Police and other emergency services attended the scene. No arrests have been made.

The driver of the Vauxhall received hospital treatment for a head injury.

He has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage recorded around the time of the incident.

Officers are particularly keen to trace the driver of a vehicle in lane three prior to the incident.
