Appeal after cyclist injured in suspected fail-to-stop collision near Bridgwater

A cyclist has been injured after a suspected fail to stop collision near Bridgwater.
Police say a man, in his forties, was cycling towards Bridgwater on the A372 when he was involved in a collision at around 11.40pm on Friday 8 May.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries to his right leg, foot and wrist and has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.
Officer believe the vehicle involved was large and white, with a loud exhaust.
Police have carried out CCTV and house-to-house enquiries, and are now appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage from around the time of the incident to come forward.
