71-year-old man charged with assaulting a woman
David Powell appeared at Taunton Magistrates Court charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
A man appeared in court yesterday charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent against a woman in her 60s.
The charge is related to an incident that took place at a property in Meare Green, near Taunton on the 16th of December 2023.
71-year-old David Powell of Meare Green, appeared at Taunton Magistrates Court on Thursday the 8th of October.
He was released on unconditional bail and will appear at Taunton Crown Court on Monday the 9th of November.
