Woman dies after car overturns on A338 near Collingbourne Ducis

A woman in her 40s has died after the car she was driving overturned on the A338 Tidworth Road near Collingbourne Ducis.

The accident took place yesterday afternoon (15/4) at approximately 3.20pm when the vehicle, a Mini Cooper travelling northbound, left the road and rolled onto its roof.

The driver was declared dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed.

A male passenger in his 30s sustained injuries that are not considered serious.

Following the incident, the road was closed to conduct enquiries but has now reopened.
