Witness sought in B3097 collision involving motorcyclist
A 17-year-old motorcyclist sustained life threatening injuries in the crash involving a van earlier this month
Police are appealing for help to identify a potential witness after a collision involving a motorcyclist and a van in Wiltshire.
The incident occurred at around 11.20am on the B3079 Lyndhurst Road on Saturday, 19th September 2026.
A 17-year-old girl was riding a Yamaha YZF125 motorcycle southbound when she collided with a Ford Transit van at the crossroads junction with New Road and Forest Road.
She suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital but police say she is now doing well.
Although several witnesses remained at the scene, police are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a white car who left before officers arrived and who may have seen the collision.
