Wiltshire asked about home security knowledge to identify gaps
Wiltshire Police has sent out a questionnaire to those living in the county
People in Wiltshire are being asked to share their knowledge of home security.
Wiltshire Police has sent out a questionnaire on the topic of burglary and home security to people living in the county, with the aim of identifying gaps in knowledge among the local population.
It features eight questions with 'yes/no' answers and multiple choice.
It's also a chance for us to share what advice we want from Police when it comes to the security of our homes.
Lisa Draper from Wiltshire Police’s Neighbourhood Harm Reduction Unit said: “We would like to understand how we can best support our communities with targeted crime prevention advice.
"Once we have received the questionnaire results, we will share videos across our social media channels focused on the burglary prevention measures that residents of Wiltshire have less knowledge of, or use less frequently.
"In doing this, we hope to provide relevant content which helps people protect their homes and prevent them from being a victim of burglary.”
We can fill out the questionnaire here, with responses needed by the end of today (Monday 3rd February).
