Two arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in Warminster

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm at a Lidl in Warminster.

The incident was reported on Station Road at about 4.30pm yesterday.

Two men, aged 45 and 28 are both currently in police custody.

Wiltshire police stated: "We would like to thank members of the public who immediately took action to detain the two men, at great personal risk, before police officers arrived at the scene."
