A search and rescue operation's underway in Chippenham after reports of concern for a man in the early hours.

Emergency services were called out to Town Bridge at 2.40am today (31 March).

Fire & Rescue crews, Wiltshire Search and Rescue and specialist underwater search officers from Avon & Somerset Police are all involved in the operation.

People are asked to stay away from the area.
