Two people remain in hospital this morning after a serious crash on the A360.
Wiltshire Police were called to the incident yesterday morning (11 May), which involved a van and a motorbike.
Officers said: "Two people have been taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a collision between a van and a motorcycle on the A360 this morning (11/05).
"At around 11.20am, we responded to a collision between a Volkswagen Transporter and a Harley Davidson on the A360 between Longbarrow Roundabout and the Stonehenge Visitor Centre.
"The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, and the pillion passenger, a woman in her 70s, were both taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
"The driver of the van was uninjured.
"The road remains closed in both directions to allow for enquires and recovery of the vehicles to be conducted.
"Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log 114 of today’s date (11/05)."
